Performance Announces PowerGasket for VW/Audi AEB 1.8T Engines
Insulated intake manifold gasket adds up to 5% horsepower
Chapel Hill, NC - NewSouth Performance extends
its line of PowerGaskets to include the AEB version of the VW/Audi
1.8T engines found on VW Golfs, Jettas and Passats and Audi A4s.
PowerGasket is an insulating gasket that radically
reduces the heat transfer from the cylinder head to the intake
manifold. It delivers up to 5% more power in 1995.5+ 1.8T engines
by reducing the temperature of the incoming air to gives you cooler,
denser air for more horsepower and performance from your engine.
Made from a high performance polymer, PowerGasket™
conducts on average less than 1/500th of the heat of the steel
gasket that it replaces. Intake manifolds will stay 30-50°
F cooler and incoming air will stay 20-30° F cooler.
This simple bolt-on has been designed for affordability,
easy installation and no disruption to manifold attachment and
engine accessories.
